Basically, we use your well point to allow water to filter from the land side of a seawall, through the concrete, into the water. This prevents the water from building up behind the seawall, putting too much pressure on it and causing it to collapse over into the water. The well point keeps the dirt, sand, debris, rock from washing through, causing the ground on the landside to cave. It also keeps the hole in the seawall from getting choked with debris.
Thanks.
